“I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday” blev skrevet af Roy Wood og indspillet af hans gruppe Wizzard i 1973. Den blev udgivet i en periode med mange store britiske julehits. Dens fyldige lyd og børnekor gør ønsket i titlen til en fest, der næsten ikke vil slutte.
Sangen forestiller sig, at julens glæde kunne vare hele året. Sne, fællesskab og den forventningsfulde stemning får plads i et omkvæd, der er bygget til at blive sunget højt. Den er ikke en detaljeret fortælling, men en begejstret forlængelse af følelsen, mange gerne vil holde fast i.
